The last unit cleared the scene shortly after 1:00 am.Īt approximately 2:30 am, on Saturday, January 15, 2022, an additional assignment was dispatched back to Chops Lobster Bar after a caller advised seeing fire showing on the roof. More than 20 units responded to the working fire. With more than 100 bystanders near the scene, Atlanta Police responded for traffic control and shut down Paces Ferry Place to Peachtree Road.Īll hands working contained the fire in the structure's attic, and at approximately 11:20 pm, responders had knocked down all visible flames. Firefighters and Chops Lobster Bar staff successfully evacuated all occupants from the building without any confirmed injuries. Upon arrival, the assignment was upgraded to a second alarm.

On Friday, January 14, 2022, at approximately 10 pm, a full assignment was dispatched to a working fire at Chops Lobster Bar after a caller advised seeing thick black smoke coming from the restaurant.
